PROJECT ARCHITECT

evans p. caruso

Mr. Caruso’s educational experience focused on Design studies while attending the University of Detroit Mercy.  He started working as an Intern Architect with the firm in 1990 and has worked his way up from a student intern to an Associate in the firm.

Evan’s belief of the strength of what a small firm offers allows the client to be involved by interacting with its Principals throughout the entire architectural process. The value of Client to Principal interaction saves time and money on each project.

His experience in managing faith based and various building types of projects has exposed Evans to a wide variety of experiences, design approaches and construction methods. His belief that the craftsmanship in Architecture and design is inherent in the overall process is important to producing a good building. The ability to integrate the use of materials with different construction methods, uniquely allows Evans to craft architecture expressing the true feeling of the space and design.

Today, Mr. Caruso’s responsibilities include design, project management, and client interaction during the process of the Project. He has worked on over fifty religious projects over the years and brings a wealth of experience regarding the importance of details and the methodology of creating a beautiful piece of architecture. During the design process, his experience has allowed him to design and integrate existing religious elements like stained glass, statuary, and pipe organs into many of the firm’s projects.
